REFFER TERMS OF USE

Last Updated: October 7, 2026

These Terms of Use ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Reffer mobile application, website, and related products and services (collectively, the "Services") operated by Reffer, Inc. ("Reffer," "we," "us," or "our").

By creating an account, clicking to accept these Terms, accessing, or using the Services, you agree to these Terms and acknowledge our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Services.

1. The Reffer Platform

Reffer is a technology platform that helps people discover, save, organize, share, and access recommendations and information about businesses, professionals, products, services, offers, and other resources.

The Services may enable users to recommend businesses and service providers, receive recommendations from people or communities they trust, create and share lists, participate in groups, communicate with other users, discover businesses, access discounts and offers, view sponsored content, and interact with third-party businesses.

Reffer provides a platform for discovery, communication, and referral. Reffer generally does not provide the third-party goods or services appearing through the Services and is not responsible for their performance.

2. Eligibility

You may use the Services only if you are legally permitted to enter into these Terms.

The Services are not directed to children under 13. If you are under the age of majority where you live, you should use the Services only with the involvement and permission of a parent or legal guardian where required.

3. Recommendations Are Not Guarantees

Recommendations, referrals, endorsements, comments, lists, posts, ratings, profiles, suggestions, and other content appearing through Reffer may originate from users, friends, community members, creators, organizations, businesses, sponsors, advertisers, affiliates, or other third parties.

Those recommendations reflect the opinions, experiences, or statements of the person or entity providing them.

A recommendation appearing on Reffer does not constitute a representation, certification, warranty, guarantee, or promise by Reffer regarding the quality, safety, legality, suitability, reliability, performance, availability, licensing, insurance, qualifications, reputation, or fitness of any business, professional, product, or service.

Unless Reffer expressly states otherwise, Reffer does not independently investigate, background check, audit, test, inspect, certify, license, approve, or continuously monitor businesses or individuals appearing through the Services.

A business's appearance on Reffer does not mean Reffer has verified or approved that business.

Likewise, the fact that a business is recommended by people you know, appears on a curated list, is popular among members of a group, participates in a Reffer program, advertises with Reffer, sponsors Reffer or a Reffer community, offers a discount, pays Reffer, participates in an affiliate relationship, or receives prominent placement does not constitute a warranty or guarantee by Reffer.

4. Sponsored and Promoted Content

Some businesses, products, services, offers, placements, posts, or other content appearing through Reffer may be sponsored, promoted, advertised, incentivized, or subject to another commercial relationship.

Reffer may receive sponsorship fees, advertising fees, subscription fees, commissions, referral fees, affiliate compensation, promotional consideration, or other compensation in connection with businesses or content appearing through the Services.

Where required by applicable law, Reffer will identify sponsored, promoted, paid, affiliate, or otherwise materially connected content.

A commercial relationship with Reffer does not mean Reffer guarantees, certifies, endorses, warrants, or assumes responsibility for the sponsor, advertiser, business, product, service, professional, offer, or promotion.

Sponsored or promoted status does not mean a business has undergone independent screening, background checks, licensing verification, safety review, or quality review by Reffer unless we expressly state that a specific verification has occurred.

Users should exercise the same independent judgment when evaluating a sponsor or promoted business as they would when evaluating any other third party.

The ordering, visibility, placement, prominence, or frequency with which a business or other content appears on Reffer may be influenced by sponsorships, advertising relationships, relevance, personalization, user activity, popularity, availability, commercial relationships, or other factors.

Placement should not be interpreted as an objective ranking of quality, safety, qualifications, or suitability.

5. Your Responsibility When Acting on a Recommendation

You are responsible for deciding whether a business, professional, product, or service is appropriate for you.

Before hiring, purchasing from, visiting, relying upon, or otherwise engaging with a third party discovered through Reffer, you should conduct whatever independent diligence is appropriate for the circumstances.

This may include verifying identity, licensing, certifications, professional credentials, insurance, references, qualifications, pricing, safety history, disciplinary history, permits, availability, and compliance with applicable laws.

This responsibility is especially important when selecting services involving healthcare, childcare, transportation, financial matters, legal matters, construction, home repair, personal safety, food, animals, travel, or any activity in which improper performance could cause injury, financial loss, property damage, illness, or other harm.

You should not rely solely on information appearing through Reffer when circumstances reasonably warrant additional investigation.

6. Third-Party Transactions

Unless Reffer expressly states otherwise, Reffer is not a party to transactions between users and businesses or service providers discovered through the Services.

Any contract for goods or services generally exists directly between you and the applicable third party.

Reffer does not control and is not responsible for a third party's pricing, availability, appointments, cancellations, refunds, warranties, products, services, professional conduct, representations, workmanship, payment practices, licensing, insurance, privacy practices, safety practices, or fulfillment.

Reffer is also not responsible for injuries, losses, property damage, financial damages, disputes, or other consequences arising from the acts or omissions of a third party.

7. Assumption of Risk and Third-Party Release

Your decision to interact or transact with another user, business, professional, sponsor, advertiser, creator, organization, or other third party is made at your own discretion.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Reffer and its officers, directors, employees, owners, affiliates, agents, and representatives are not responsible for claims, losses, damages, injuries, liabilities, costs, or disputes resulting from the acts or omissions of third parties discovered or contacted through the Services.

This includes claims arising from recommendations, referrals, sponsored businesses, advertisements, promotional offers, affiliate relationships, third-party products or services, interactions between users, and your reliance on information supplied by another user or third party.

Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be waived.

8. No Professional Advice

Reffer provides technology for discovery, communication, organization, and referrals.

Reffer does not provide medical, legal, financial, tax, mental-health, veterinary, engineering, construction, safety, or other regulated professional advice.

A recommendation of a professional through Reffer does not constitute professional advice from Reffer.

You remain responsible for obtaining advice appropriate to your circumstances.

9. User Content

The Services may allow you to submit recommendations, comments, posts, messages, images, videos, files, lists, referrals, links, or other material ("User Content").

You are responsible for your User Content.

By submitting User Content, you represent that you have the right to provide it and that, to the best of your knowledge, it is not intentionally false, fraudulent, defamatory, misleading, unlawful, or infringing.

When describing your experience with a product, professional, or business, you agree that your statements will reflect your genuine experience or opinion.

You may not falsely claim to have used a product or service or had an experience that did not occur.

If you have received money, free products or services, discounts, commissions, employment, ownership interests, gifts, referral compensation, or another benefit connected to something you recommend, you are responsible for making any disclosure required by law.

Reffer may remove, restrict, label, moderate, or decline to distribute User Content when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect users or third parties, comply with law, maintain the integrity of the Services, or prevent deception or abuse.

10. Business, Sponsor, and Advertiser Responsibilities

Businesses, sponsors, and advertisers using Reffer are responsible for the accuracy, legality, and substantiation of their advertisements, promotions, offers, claims, descriptions, and commercial content.

Businesses may not use Reffer to create or distribute fake recommendations or testimonials, impersonate customers, materially misrepresent customer experiences, disguise paid promotion as independent consumer opinion, manipulate recommendations or popularity indicators, make false or misleading claims, or omit disclosures required by applicable advertising law.

Reffer may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these requirements.

11. Offers, Discounts, and Promotions

Reffer may display discounts, promotions, coupons, benefits, promotional codes, contests, giveaways, or other offers supplied by third parties.

Unless expressly stated otherwise, the third party offering the promotion is responsible for its eligibility criteria, terms, restrictions, availability, expiration, redemption, fulfillment, and compliance with applicable law.

Reffer does not guarantee that a third party will continue an offer or honor an offer that has expired, changed, become unavailable, or was posted incorrectly.

12. Communications

By creating an account, you agree that Reffer may send you communications necessary to operate the Services, including account notices, security messages, transactional communications, and service-related notifications.

Where permitted by law and subject to any required consent, Reffer may also send marketing or promotional communications.

You may opt out of marketing communications using the unsubscribe or preference-management mechanism provided with those communications. Opting out of marketing communications does not prevent Reffer from sending operational or legally required messages.

If Reffer offers text-message communications, message and data rates may apply. Any marketing text-message program will be subject to the consent and opt-out requirements applicable to that program.

13. Third-Party Services and Links

The Services may contain links to or integrations with websites, maps, payment services, booking systems, social networks, applications, or other services operated by third parties.

Reffer does not control those services.

Your interaction with a third-party service may be governed by that third party's own terms and privacy policy.

Reffer is not responsible for the content, security, availability, products, services, conduct, or privacy practices of third parties.

14. Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for activity conducted through your account.

You must notify Reffer if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

You may not access another person's account without permission or interfere with the security or operation of the Services.

15. Acceptable Use

You may not use Reffer to violate applicable law, harass or threaten another person, distribute fraudulent or unlawful content, impersonate another person or entity, manipulate recommendations or engagement, create fake accounts or referrals, distribute malicious software, infringe intellectual-property rights, interfere with the operation or security of the Services, or use information obtained through Reffer for unlawful surveillance, stalking, discrimination, harassment, or other unlawful purposes.

You may not access or collect information from the Services using unauthorized automated methods, including scraping, bots, or automated extraction tools, except where expressly authorized by Reffer.

16. Intellectual Property

The Services, including Reffer's software, interfaces, branding, trademarks, graphics, systems, functionality, and other proprietary materials, are owned by or licensed to Reffer and protected by applicable intellectual-property laws.

These Terms grant you only the limited right to access and use the Services in accordance with these Terms.

17. License to User Content

By submitting User Content, you grant Reffer a nonexclusive, worldwide, royalty-free, sublicensable license to host, store, reproduce, display, distribute, technically modify, and otherwise use that content as reasonably necessary to operate, provide, improve, protect, and promote the Services.

This license does not transfer ownership of your User Content to Reffer.

The license ends when the content is deleted from our systems, except where continued retention is reasonably necessary for technical operations, security, legal compliance, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, or where content has already been shared with others through the Services.

18. Privacy

Reffer's collection, use, and disclosure of personal information is described in the Reffer Privacy Policy.

19. Changes to the Services

Reffer may modify, update, suspend, discontinue, add, or remove functionality from the Services.

We do not guarantee that the Services or any individual feature, recommendation, business profile, group, message, list, offer, or other content will remain continuously available.

20. Suspension and Termination

Reffer may suspend, restrict, or terminate access to the Services when reasonably necessary to enforce these Terms, protect Reffer, protect users or third parties, respond to fraud or abuse, maintain the security or integrity of the Services, or comply with applicable law.

You may stop using Reffer at any time.
